Care & Use Guide

Make safe, delicious fermented foods with your Mojoberry crock. Follow these simple steps for best results. 

Before First Use

 Wash the crock, lid, and weights in warm water with mild detergent. Dry completely. Avoid sudden temperature changes. 


Preparing Your Ferment

Pack vegetables firmly, add brine, place weights, and seal the lid. Keep ingredients submerged. 


During Fermentation

Store your crock at room temperature away from direct sunlight. Check the water seal every few days and refill if needed. Bubbling and aroma are normal signs fermentation is active. 


Cleaning After Use

Rinse promptly after emptying. Wash with warm water and mild detergent. Avoid abrasive scrubbers or harsh chemicals. Allow all parts to dry fully before storing.
